For the last month or so I have noticed that phishing e-mails are getting better and better. Seriously if I wasn't so suspicious I be opening links left right and centre.
I have emails posing from
Banks (all over the world)
The FBI (informing me I am receiving legitimate funds from strange business transactions, and that even though the criminals have been arrested I still
have millions waiting for me)
Rich widows and widowers (apparently their other half had money hidden and they
need my help to access it).
BMW My e-mail address was drawn to win a new car
LG I have won all sorts of electrical equipment
Walmart As a thank you for shopping there I have gift vouchers (this is impossible considering I don't live in the US, so I don't short in walmart)
And soooooo many more. I have done some research and now these people are also going offline. Using marketing ploys in the form of junk mail with ways you can get millions etc; So please also be aware of what is coming through your mailbox. These scams can be so compelling, no matter what way they are sent.
